Romeo y Julieta Reserve

Built at the La Flor de Copán factory in Honduras, the Reserve pushes Romeo's profile toward firmer, more seasoned territory. The Nicaraguan wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and Honduran/Nicaraguan long fillers delivers a chewy, medium‑full to full smoke: leather and cocoa dominate, with espresso/coffee and cedar in the mix and a dusting of black pepper on the retrohale. Construction and smoke output are commonly praised—thick smoke, steady draw and dependable burns—so the cigars carry their intensity cleanly. Altadis has also used the Reserve blend for occasional limited releases (for example, a Reserve Rare aged release), underlining its role as both a regular production line and a platform for special runs.
