Romeo y Julieta 1875

Built on Dominican binder and long fillers and capped with an Indonesian Shade (TBN) wrapper, the 1875 favors a smooth, measured delivery over aggressive spice. Construction is typically clean with white ash; tasting notes center on cedar and roasted nuts with a soft, creamy backbone and a hint of cinnamon. The Indonesian Shade can add a restrained cereal sweetness or a subtle pepper lift on the nose, giving the blend a different aromatic fingerprint from straight Connecticut- or Nicaraguan-wrapped cigars. The 1875 name has also appeared on later Nicaragua and Nicaragua–Connecticut iterations (including releases with Plasencia tobaccos) that shift the profile toward earth, leather and pepper, and those versions taste noticeably different from the original Dominican-bodied expression.
