Construction tends to be clean with white ash and measured flavor output. Note that the 1875 name has been used for several distinct blends—Plasencia‑rolled Nicaraguan puros and a Nicaragua Connecticut variant among them—so smoking character varies by edition: the Dominican/Indonesian original stays cedar‑and‑nut focused while later Nicaraguan versions bring earth and pepper into the mix.
