What leaf and factory are behind the Heritage blend?

The Heritage wears a triple‑fermented Brazilian Mata Fina maduro wrapper over a Nicaraguan Habano binder, with Nicaraguan (and some Brazilian) fillers. Production is handled at Tabacalera AJ Fernandez in Estelí, Nicaragua.

How does the Heritage smoke—what are the dominant flavors and strength?

Across reviews the line is described as medium–full in strength with a coffee/espresso and dark chocolate lead from the Mata Fina wrapper, backed by toasted oak, baking spice, cedar and dry earth; mouthfeel trends drier and the cigar carries steady spice into the mid and final thirds.

What sizes were released and how are they presented?

The Heritage launched in five core sizes—Corona (44 x 5 1/2), Robusto (52 x 5), Toro (54 x 6), Torpedo (52 x 6 1/8) and Churchill (54 x 7)—sold in 20‑count boxes with a two‑band presentation: the primary H. Upmann band and a secondary AJ Fernández band.

How strong and what flavors should I expect?

Strength sits around medium‑full: expect espresso and dark chocolate up front with toasted oak, baking spice, cedar and dry earth through the mid and final thirds. Several reviews note a slightly dry mouthfeel and persistent black‑coffee/roast character.

The Nicaragua AJ Fernández Heritage is an AJF collaboration for H. Upmann built around a triple‑fermented Brazilian Mata Fina maduro wrapper over Nicaraguan Habano binder and mixed fillers, produced at Tabacalera AJ Fernández. The wrapper treatment and extra aging push the cigar toward roasted espresso and dark‑chocolate tones with toasted oak and baking spice beneath. Strength reads medium‑full, construction is consistently firm, and the profile favors espresso-forward maduro character with a dry, slightly roasted mouthfeel.
