Montecristo Classic is the brand's Connecticut‑shade take on its signature Dominican profile: a Select Connecticut Shade wrapper atop Dominican binder and filler, built in the Dominican Republic for an approachable, balanced smoke. The blend favors cream and almond — light toasted nuttiness up front — while steady cedar and coffee undercurrents carry the midpalate and a soft sweetness sometimes appears toward the finish. Construction is part of the point: the line is blended for an easy draw and predictable burn so subtler flavors come through cleanly rather than being swamped by heat or spice. Format variety is intentional, from standard Montecristo sizes (Robusto, Toro, No. 2, Churchill and a few especiales and tubos) to an Altadis‑released Mini cigarillo/tin for shorter sessions.
