Conceived by Rafael Nodal and produced with AJ Fernandez in Nicaragua, Midnight Twist is the night‑time counterpart to the Reserva Real Nicaragua program. The barber‑pole is a dual‑cloak: a lighter and a darker Nicaraguan wrapper laid together to give alternating flavor lifts and a darker overall aesthetic. The construction is all‑Nicaraguan—wrapper, binder and filler—and the cigar sits in the medium‑full strength lane. Smoking character centers on cedar and toasted oak, with coffee and earthy notes forming the backbone and a peppery spice that eases and returns through the smoke; early draws may show a cashew‑like nuttiness and brief fruit sweetness, but the profile tends to settle into coffee/earth/pepper by mid‑to‑late. The dual‑cloak isn't just visual theatre—the paired wrappers change surface oils and burn behavior, giving Midnight Twist a slightly heavier, evening‑appropriate voice compared with the Dominican‑rooted Reserva Real relatives.
