Montecristo Nicaragua Series

Blended by A. J. Fernández and made at Tabacalera AJ Fernández, the Montecristo Nicaragua Series is Montecristo's Nicaraguan puro — heavier gauges that press into Estelí's pepper-and-mineral signature while wearing Montecristo's restrained presentation. Expect a matte, medium-brown wrapper and a tidy two-band look that carries a secondary Nicaraguan series band. These sizes lean full-strength with a peppery, earthy backbone: black pepper and dry earth up front, cedar and leather in support, and secondary notes of coffee, cocoa and a faint creamy or nutty sweetness. The line favors a steady, focused progression—pepper and mineral tones stick around while sweeter, creamier elements ebb and return—yielding a Montecristo that brings Estelí power and structure without abandoning clean construction and measured discipline.
