Flavor Profile

Cedar, earth, natural tobacco, black pepper, nuts

Built with AJ Fernandez, Onyx Vintage Nicaragua is a straightforward, non-pressed parejo that leans heavily on an extra‑aged 2019 Nicaraguan Habano wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler. The smoke is tobacco-first and measured — cedar and earth lead, with black pepper and a light nutty thread through a balanced, medium-bodied texture. Construction and performance are tidy: the three traditional vitolas burn and draw cleanly, and the nub finishes firm and cool. Flavors progress steadily rather than in dramatic swings, favoring aged tobacco and restrained spice over overt sweetness or heavy espresso notes — a dependable, disciplined Nicaraguan profile for smokers who prefer focus over flair.
