Ecuador Shade
CAO FASA Sombra
FASA Sombra is the shade‑grown expression in CAO's FASA trilogy, finished in an Ecuadorian shade wrapper over a Cameroon binder with Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers. It smokes in the medium (mild–medium) lane with cream, hay, toasted cedar and almond notes and was released in 2025 in Toro and Gigante formats.

Sombra softens the trilogy with an Ecuadorian shade leaf that highlights cream, hay and almond instead of weighty spice. The Cameroon binder and blended fillers provide a modestly savory base, but the smoke remains smooth and restrained—classic Connecticut‑shade traits rather than aggressive pepper. It reads as an easy, morning‑or‑afternoon cigar: texture and nuance over brute strength.
