The 20th Anniversary takes OpusX DNA and intentionally softens the edges. It keeps the Dominican puro construction but uses a lighter, shade‑grown wrapper priming from Chateau de la Fuente to produce a medium‑strength delivery rather than the flagship’s full power. Tasters note cedar and leather up front, coffee and baking‑spice through the body, and an early almond‑or graham‑like sweetness that gives way to pepper in the finish. The release was handled as a limited set—issued in four 20‑count formats with distinctive packaging—and reads as an OpusX tuned for balance and nuance rather than brute force.
