Expect a firm core of coffee and cocoa with a clean creaminess early that dries toward toast, coffee bean and nut; a baking‑spice character—sometimes described as caraway‑like—shows up on the retrohale alongside black pepper. The combination of Sumatra sweetness and Broadleaf richness produces clear chocolate/vanilla moments while leaving room for savory spices to assert themselves as the cigar progresses. Aksum Maduro pairs Sumatra maduro color and texture with a Broadleaf backbone and Nicaraguan power. Expect dark chocolate and espresso up front, a backbone of cinnamon‑and‑clove baking spice and cedar, and black pepper with leather and roasted‑nut accents through the midsection. The molasses‑tinged sweetness appears without overpowering the earthy, spicy center.
