Herbal Experiment
The Upsetters
The Upsetters centers on rare Jamaican cow‑tongue leaf blended with Nicaraguan binder and fillers and finished using a Caribbean herbal infusion; offered in Sumatra, Connecticut Shade/Broadleaf and Candela wrappers, it reads mild–medium with honeyed, menthol‑like herbal sweetness and cedar, citrus and warm spice beneath.

Filler
Jamaican cow tongue & Nicaraguan tobacco
The Upsetters is Foundation’s deliberate experiment: Jamaican cow‑tongue tobacco fused with Nicaraguan construction and a measured Caribbean herbal finishing technique. The infusion leaves a honeyed, menthol‑like herbal sweetness on the cap and cold draw while the underlying tobacco brings cedar, light citrus and a trailing black‑pepper warmth that builds into the second half. Wrapper choice shifts the surface character—Sumatra for a spongier topnote, Broadleaf for darker sweetness, Candela for green freshness—but the line’s intent is consistent: unconventional topnotes riding a conventional backbone, presented with clean roll and steady burn despite the infusion.
