Sumatra Pressed
20th Anniversary
ALL LINESThe Edge 20th Anniversary (2022) is built around a decade‑aged Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper over Honduran and Nicaraguan tobaccos and finished in The Edge's contoured, pressed form. Placed in the medium to medium‑full lane, it shifts from cherry/cream sweetness into cedar, black pepper, earth and dark‑chocolate/coffee undertones.

The Edge 20th Anniversary tightens the Edge formula with a ten‑year‑old Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper and the series' distinctive contoured press. The aged Sumatra opens soft—cherry or cream sweetness—then moves into wood and cedar with a peppered midpalate and an earthy backbone. Coffee and dark‑chocolate notes linger in the finish, and the pressed casing produces a firmer mouthfeel and focused draw compared with a rounded stick. Construction and burn are generally praised, though some samples benefit from a little cellar time to let flavors separate. It's the Edge variant for smokers who want Sumatra sweetness married to a firmer, more structured presentation.
