La Gloria Cubana 8th Street 2023

Rolled in collaboration with El Titán de Bronze in Miami, the 2023 8th Street is a deliberately place‑forward La Gloria release: Corona Grande frontmark, Ecuadorian Habano Maduro wrapper, Nicaraguan binder and Dominican/Nicaraguan fillers. The Maduro top leaf gives a darker, naturally sweet envelope that favors roasted, dessert‑leaning flavors rather than floral or candied notes. On the palate it runs full in strength—espresso and dark chocolate sit center stage with cream and a leathery spice that builds toward the finish. Samples show a plush, oily midsection and a final third where pepper and savory leather sharpen without becoming harsh; construction and wrapper appearance are frequently praised. What sets this one apart is the combination of Miami craft and a limited‑frontmark presentation that leans sweeter and heavier than standard La Gloria releases.
