The Mata Fina leaf darkens the Días de Gloria voice and nudges surface flavors toward chocolate and coffee. Box‑pressing gives the cigars a firmer, denser feel in hand and concentrates the flavors: toasted oak and cedar open, earth and cocoa/mocha take the midsections, and pepper shows up more on the retrohale than the palate at times. A light creaminess and a touch of sweet tobacco round the finish. Construction across samples is praised for firm density and straight burns; occasional presentation flourishes—cedar sleeves and a Figurado variant—add a touch of ceremony to certain sizes.
