Question 1

What is Insidious Maduro and how does it differ from the original Insidious?

Accepted Answer

Insidious Maduro is the maduro‑wrapped version of Asylum's Insidious line. It keeps the Insidious house approach — Honduran binder and long‑fillers — but swaps in a dark maduro jacket to push the flavor profile toward cream, cocoa and sweet spice while retaining a solid, Honduran‑driven core.

Question 2

What strength and flavor profile should a smoker expect?

Accepted Answer

Reviews place Insidious Maduro in the medium to medium‑full strength range. Expect a sweet, cocoa‑forward opening with cream and nutty midpalate notes, a peppery retrohale at times, and a cedar/wood backbone that carries through the finish.

Question 3

What are the reported blend components and construction notes?

Accepted Answer

Independent write‑ups and brand indicate a maduro wrapper over a Honduran binder and Honduran long‑fillers. Reviewers consistently call out smooth, consistent construction, a clean burn and an effortless draw.

Question 4

Which sizes are commonly noted for Insidious Maduro?

Accepted Answer

Reviews document common daily sizes including 5 x 50, 6 x 52 and 7 x 64, with the 5 x 50 cited specifically in several tastings.

Question 5

How strong is Insidious Maduro?

Accepted Answer

Independent reviews and the maker position the line in the medium to medium‑full strength lane—creamy and sweet up front with a peppery retrohale that can push perceived strength into medium‑full territory.

Question 6

What flavors should I expect from Insidious Maduro?

Accepted Answer

Expect cream and cocoa as primary notes, plus black pepper and baking‑spice accents and a sweet nuttiness—the cigar leans toward dessert‑style flavors while retaining a woody Honduran core.
