What tobaccos make up C. L. E. Habano?

CLE presents Habano as a Honduran puro built around a Honduran Habano wrapper and Honduran binder/fillers; independent tastings of specific sizes have reported additional filler leaf from Nicaragua and Peru in some blends, so exact filler make-up can vary by sizes.

How strong and flavorful is the Habano line?

The Habano runs in the medium to medium‑full strength lane. Flavor-wise, the line is cedar and baking‑spice forward early on, develops creaminess and cocoa through the midpalate, and finishes with light pepper and dry cedar notes—an approachable but assertive Honduran profile.

Are there any notable size or packaging quirks for the line?

CLE has released the Habano in a range of formats, from standard robustos and six‑inch sizes to unusual large‑ring short formats that change mouthfeel and heat dynamics; recent company packaging updates (noted at PCA 2024) refreshed banding and presentation, and Habano releases have included a tissue-wrapped foot and distinct orange-accent banding.

How strong is the Habano and what flavor profile should I expect?

Strength typically registers medium‑full; tasting notes converge on cedar and baking spice up front with creamy midpalate notes and cocoa or light chocolate toward the finish, often finishing a bit herbal or oaky on some sizes.
