Leather, earth, hazelnut, molassesThis Maduro trades the bright, toasted edges of milder Hoyos for darker sugar and molasses tones courtesy of the Broadleaf wrapper. The Connecticut Shade binder softens and rounds the profile, letting hazelnut and cedar from the filler keep the smoke balanced. Expect a smooth, slightly oily texture, medium finish and recurring molasses/wood echoes rather than aggressive spice. It’s a measured maduro—sweet enough to satisfy dessert cravings but designed to stay balanced and approachable rather than overpowering.
