Alma del Fuego was named for the volcanic island whose soils inform much of the blend: a sungrown Jalapa wrapper over a filler/binder mix heavily weighted to Ometepe tobacco and presented in box‑pressed formats. The press gives the cigars a firm, squarish feel that accentuates the wrapper’s meaty texture. The profile typically opens with a bright citrus lift — tangerine — layered over roasted‑nut flavors like cashew and a savory guava‑wood earthiness; white and black pepper thread through the smoke, while coffee and chocolate show up as the blend opens in larger sizes.
