Connecticut Shade
Jaime Garcia R. E. – Connecticut
Jaime Garcia R. E. – Connecticut uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler and is blended by José “Pepín” Garcia with Jaime’s input; it sits in the mild–medium lane with cedar, hay/grain, cream and gentle black‑pepper notes.

This Connecticut‑wrapped sibling of the Reserva Especial family keeps the Garcia backbone but softens the surface. The Ecuadorian shade produces hay, cereal and cream notes up front, with cedar and light earth filling the midpalate while a restrained pepper tickle appears on the retrohale. Strength stays left of the house norm—mild to medium early with the potential to firm toward medium in the final third—making it a lighter, more approachable take on the Garcia flavor template without losing textural detail or tobacco depth.
