El Septimo built the Alexandra Collection as a short, single‑origin exercise: wrapper, binder and filler grown and aged in Costa Rica and presented in hand‑rolled, compact formats. Rather than chase power, these cigars emphasize aroma and polish — reports cite high‑altitude leaf aged for extended periods (roughly five to 15 years), which shows up as a silky smoke and layered aroma. The Coco is the gentler of the two; the Marilyn pushes into medium to medium‑full. Expect woody and tea‑like openings, an underlying oak spine and a mild caramel sweetness toward the finish — a pair designed for measured, aromatic smoking rather than peppery bite or nonstop strength.
