I’m so glad I chose this place to get cigars for Christmas gifts. I came in with no knowledge of cigars, and Steve took the time to help me find me the perfect choices. He was very knowledgeable and taught me some cool stuff! He wanted to make sure I got the right ones for the right people, all while staying in my budget. If you’re looking pipes or pipe tobacco, this is the best spot in the low country (cigar selection looks good too). They have an awesome selection of Cornell & Diehl, Peterson, G.L. Pease, and bulk pipe tobacco, along with Savinelli, Peterson, and Rossi pipes and accessories. The owner Steve is really approachable and knows his stuff. Happy to have found my pipe store.

I recently ordered from West Ash Cigars in Charleston and let me tell you — these folks are top-notch. I had never even heard of the shop before, but a friend of mine was flying in from overseas and offered to pick up a box of cigars for me. So, there I am, calling from another country, hoping someone doesn’t think I’m crazy or running a cigar smuggling operation. The gentleman who answered was incredibly helpful. He even asked if I was military and offered me a well-appreciated discount. The cigars were still pricey (quality never comes cheap), but I was happy just to get them. When my friend arrived to pick them up, they were right there waiting with my name on them and — surprise! — they had given me a Christmas discount on top of everything. That was generous, unexpected, and absolutely made my day. I travel through Charleston often, and after this experience, I don’t plan on buying cigars anywhere else. Great customer service, genuine people, and they made the process smoother than airport security — and I mean that as the highest compliment. Thanks again, West Ash Cigars. You’ve gained a lifelong customer.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. A nice selection of Cigars in the Charleston area, do not worry about parking at all . I would save Money and Time to shop and purchase your sticks here, rather then fight all the traffic in downtown Charleston and fight to find a parking spot. West Ash Cigars is one of the local’s hinder gems !
