I had been hearing a lot people in the cigar world talking about Wendell Cigar Company, so I finally made the drive over from Apex to check out their new spot at 209 E Third Street. Let me tell you, it completely lives up to the hype. From the moment I walked through the door, it was clear this is much more than a standard retail store. The owners have built a genuine community gathering place. The vibe is incredibly welcoming whether you are a seasoned aficionado or just looking to try something new. What really impressed me was their humidor. Instead of just stocking the usual mass market boxes, they have put together a highly curated selection of high quality, boutique brands. Seeing standout labels like Avowed Cigar Company on the shelves tells you they really know their stuff and care about offering a unique experience. The atmosphere is exactly what you want in a lounge, and I really appreciate their focus on local partnerships. They do event nights featuring North Carolina brands like Cook's Mill Whiskey, which makes for a perfect pairing experience. To top it off, the location right in the heart of Wendell is super convenient, and there is plenty of free parking. If you want a great environment, knowledgeable staff, and a truly impressive premium selection, Wendell Cigar Company is setting the bar high. I highly recommend checking them out!

First impression when you walk in is great because of how friendly and helpful Tucker and Jason are. I was skeptical about a Wendell cigar lounge but this place is top notch. Niche selection, clean, and modern with traditional roots which is hard to balance. I’m pumped up to have this place as an addition to downtown Wendell.

I visited here last Sunday (4/24), as I was off work. Grabbed a coffee and arrived and met jason, the manager. Such an awesome gem of a place! Humidor had excellent choices to pick from, some of which I can’t get at other places. I was picked up a few cigars and kicked back for a smoke. Comfortable seating ,great decor and great customer service! Will definitely be back! 💯🤘🏼

Now this is the cigar selection any enthusiast wants! Casdagli, Avowed, foundation, Rojas, Blackbird, Caldwell, Warped, Valacari, Stolen Thrones, HDA… the list goes on. Beautiful humidor, clean, well kept. Can’t wait for the lounge!
