Seth (I believe this is his name, correct me if I'm wrong), kindly recommended these three fine cigars at this Palm Springs location. This was our first time visiting this amazing city, and my experience with him at the Tinder Box really was the "cherry on top" for our vacation, and our trip finale through Palm Springs. The shop was conveniently located across from our hotel, and I knew at least one cigar I was looking for. Once I asked for a Nub, he used that as a starting point for two other suggestions. Both were exceptional, but his recommendation of the Arturo Fuente Gran Reserva, was a game changer (shown here in the middle). Nice mid to dark flavor, so smooth, but rich, earthy, with a diminishing aftertaste and no sourness... It was perfect! I have a friend to the Nub now, and it begins with A. Thank you Seth and the Tinder Box at Palm Springs ❤️! Beautiful store, great people, the coolest city! See you soon hopefully 😉. ...and you were my emotional support as I trekked through the city to successfully find my wife's missing water bottle, ha HA🙏! Thank you 👏!

Not sure if we came into this shop when one of the staff members was having a bad day, or what, but his vibes were way off. We walked into the Humidor to check their selection and the shop assistant asked *if* he could help us find something. My friend said we were browsing. (Personally, I was not JUST browsing— I was intending to find something for my father) but the staff member rudely said something to the effect of, “You’re not doing that in here,” or “You can do that out there.” I was pretty shocked that he was so flippantly rude to us, that all I could muster was, “I might’ve bought something.” My friend immediately walked out the door, and I followed him because I didn’t want to be around the clerk anymore. I felt that he intended to make us feel unwelcome. It saddens me to leave an unfavorable review of this place. I’m not a tourist; I live nearby, and I went downtown to look for holiday gifts. I remembered how much I love the smell of Tinder Box, and although I went in to soak up the scents of the tobacco, that wasn’t my only intention. Conclusion— if you come in here, you better know EXACTLY what you’re looking for, or the shop assistant who works here will make you feel like an idiot. There’s a VERY friendly wine and cigar shop just up the street where we ended up purchasing some unique gifts. Go there instead.

GREAT customer service. Family owned. Good vibes, knowledgeable. Bought a cigar for the birth of my grandson.( for son in law) took the young mans suggestion at what to get and it was perfect. This place however would make me want to smoke a good cigar or pipe. Please support this business.

Only place to stop on the main drag. New owners. No mold. Ignore the old reviews. Incredibly well curated humidor and Seth is a fantastic guy. Last, pricing is fair by every standard, plenty of Opus out in the open, no secret handshakes. My shop of choice in the area.
