OK, so I was here on 11/11/25 and found this place by accident. I stopped in and it was awesome! Not a lot of people at the time but I had nice conversations with the barkeep and other patrons. However, I came back for another business trip and stopped by 12/2, 12/3 and 12/4 between 6-8 PM and the place was closed all three evenings! There was even a tree lighting down town with lots of people and still closed! Not sure what happened during this time but am super disappointed as I like to smoke cigars and want to spend my money but can’t! This is the ONLY reason I give it 3 stars. I did not eat any food so can’t comment on that. I had a drink and smoked my cigar on 11/11/25, knew I was coming back to town, booked the hotel downtown just to come and smoke after a long day at the plant. Tomorrow is Friday 12/5/25 and am afraid to walk down again just to be disappointed that it’s closed. Just like my love life but hope the place is open at least over the weekend. Please fix whatever is going on ASAP. Thanks

Me and my brother stop by here almost every week to smoke a cigar and catch up. Every time we come here it's an awesome experience. I gave it three stars because me and brother came by around 7pm on 12/5 and they were closed with no explanation. I saw the other comment that said they were working on the floors, but would have loved to know that before driving an hour. When this place is great, it's great, but there are some times where things like this happen.

From the customer perspective, I had really high hopes for this place. The bartender was nice and made a great old fashioned. Loved the furniture and general vibe. As a band though, AVOID THIS PLACE! After talking with the manager I decided to book, they said they were trying to build a following as a music venue and I support that always in my hometown. Too small and too many hard surfaces for a full band, so I agreed to a solo show. Everything was great, I pumped up the show and paid for ads to promote to try to draw a crowd, even though the venue did nothing to promote we stayed in contact. Then the manager disappeared the week before the show, and two days before I was contacted by a random person saying they wanted to cancel. Apparently they didn't realize Clemson plays football on Saturdays in the fall, even though I mentioned it when booking and was assured it wasn't a problem. I was understanding though, they were new to music booking and everybody makes mistakes. I've been doing this for 20 years, I don't get worked up about stuff as long as they are trying. They said we would reschedule, and all I asked was my money back for the ads I ran. They agreed, and I let all of our disappointed fans know there was a miscommunication and we would reschedule, no worries. Then, they disappeared. Completely ghosted me. I tried for weeks to contact them. I made a comment on a public post and they deleted it, then deleted my review, then blocked me. I'm sure they will try the same with this one, or leave some defensive comment trying to redirect blame. After asking around it seems they have difficulty with staff turnover, not surprising if this is how they do business. We're out here trying to make a living too, and I don't miss shows so booking one place means I can't book another. I hate leaving negative reviews, but don't want other bands to get burned like I did. I had a nice night when I stopped in initially for a drink, but that was mostly thanks to the bartender and she's not there anymore. As a customer, knowing how they do business, I would think twice about stopping in too. With the way they treat their staff, and vendors, who knows what shortcuts they take with the customer to save a buck.

The place is really nice if you are into cigar smoke, cocktails, and leather furniture. I don't like the way they treat their musicians and staff, so I won't be back.

Not sure how the person gave a 1 star review for atmosphere. I love coming to this place because of the relaxing atmosphere. Wonderful establishment.
