Felt at home walking in the door. Staff is knowledgeable about cigars and spirits, and quick to help if you have any questions. Live music was great and not over loud. Will stop in again if I'm in the area, and will use this as a model if I get to open my own shop. Thanks Old Fashioned!

The staff was great and the atmosphere was okay, the guy who originally checked our IDs was extremely friendly and welcoming. Within 5 minutes a man who I’m assuming was the owner came over to try to strike up a conversation with a friends wife while he was ordering our drinks. When she was not receptive to the conversation he became extremely confrontational, our entire group was uncomfortable by the harassment when he didn’t get his way (which seems to be a common occurrence) he proceeded to ask for our ids again, not a issue we were happy to show up until he wanted to advance closer to a woman in our group to intimidate her after she wouldn’t hand him her wallet with his id in it. I truly hope anyone reading this review chooses not to patronize this establishment, especially with the multiple accusations from other people of him being a total dirt bag. I’ll be happy to come have this conversation in person whenever you want!

After wondering around town and visiting other bourbon/cocktail bars we found this. By far the best atmosphere and employees. Of the 4 of us only 1 smokes cigars but we managed to sit inside without too much smoke. The waitress was amazing. We plan to go back. Update: 2 of us went back the next night. Live band was wonderful. Everyone is kind. Our waitress from the first night promised she would bring in mint for a cocktail and she absolutely pulled through.

I don’t even think I have the words to explain this disgust of this place. I’ve been waiting to post a review after talking to the law and see what I could do with some action that happened during my visit. Around a month ago my friends and I decided to try out the cigar bar and I wish we didn’t. At first it went over good a gentleman who seem to be the owner walked up to us and when I went to go hand him my id he put his hand on my shoulder and said no it’s okay and just started me up and down. From there I was uncomfortable but he went on somewhere else. I get my drink at the bar and myself with my friends were asking the bartenders question about cigars and the unique barrels on the wall. Then moments later the man who seem to be the owner slides in between me and my friends again but ask me to come with him and he will show me around. I went into the cigar shop and the balcony area I asked if I could show my friends and he said “no just a special treat for certain nonmembers” i immediately tensed up and he just laughed and hit my shoulder with his. I WAS DONE then went to the bar and he came back to tell me he lives upstairs and if I wanted he would show me around and then starts rubbing my leg and staring at my chest. I didn’t responded I tried ignoring him but he came back again saying I could just kiss you!!! At the that time I said he better get away from me. I went to pay my tab and all 3 bartenders who seem to be an older couple and younger lady saying just be grateful you got away he has tends to be like that when he drinks . YOUNG FEMALES DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I have been talking around seems he has a history of SA. This place needs to be gone or him!

Have been recommended this place to visit when I was driving through so figured I'd try it out but was pretty disappointed. The place appears nice, decor is nice, but the service and atmosphere is severely lacking. They have a great selection of whiskeys i wanted to pair with a cigar but when I asked the bartender what they'd suggest to pair they didnt seem to really know anything about cigars and could only tell me what was popular and sold well but nothing else. And the whole process of getting the drink and the cigar seemed a little convoluted and awkward compared to other similar establishments I've been to. As well I though it was really weird that they have tap to pay but I couldn't use apple pay? When I mentioned it the bartender just said its a decision the owner made and it doesnt make sense to them either. Well fast forward a little into the night it all seemed to make sense. The bar got pretty busy and the owner (who lives in the apartment above the bar) came down from up the stairs and was clearly pretty drunk, slurring speech, clumsy and throwing off the flow of the staff around him. You could feel the whole mood shift and all the employees get stiff and clearly uncomfortable. Ended up talking to one the "members" (I don't really understand the members only for both lofts) I asked if this was usual and how the bartender seemed so uncomfortable, they told me that is was pretty usual and they've really struggled to keep staff here. From what I could see I could believe it. He kept interrupting the bartender to tell them a drink order they were already working on. I could feel the tension of the micromanaging. The guy I was talking to told me its gotten worse the last 6 weeks or so after losing one of the bartenders they've either been short staffed or the owner has been hanging around drinking with some of the other members then fumbling around to "help." From the other reviews I see it seems like this is commonplace here and the owner seems very argumentative in the replies. Maybe I just came through at a bad time but I dont know that I'll give it another try. It felt like the camera crew was going to bust in for bar rescue any minute itbwas painful to watch. And with so few good cigar bars with full humidors left its a shame.
