Had the opportunity to go spend some time here yesterday! Wow this place is awesome, clean friendly atmosphere with great staff! Had the chance to smoke a cigar with the owner Norm and a few other great guys! Wow! The owner is very knowledgeable and will walk with you through the humidor and help you pic out a great cigar. Highly recommend paying this place a visit sooner rather than later. Ps. You will find cigars here that you can't find elsewhere. Enjoy!

Popped in once while I was visiting the area ahead of moving out to Pittsburgh for work.
I felt terribly awkward because I was used to going to a shop back in Toledo that I just got the same house-blend from for years. I was asked questions about my palette and something about Connecticut or Habano, so I went with what looked like the one I usually got and figured that was that.
Got convinced by a coworker to give the place another shot.
After that, I’ve been going every Saturday like clockwork for about 4-5 months now and any time they have a veterans night. It’s become my weekly “Get Out Of The Apartment and Away From Everything” event that I can’t wait for.
Along the way, the regulars as well as the owners (who you’ll see every weekend), their manager Johnny and all their employees have taken the time to get to know me, my cigar preferences, and expanded my palatte to some truly good cigars.
If that’s not your thing, it’s a great place to hang out and talk about the stupidest things (something like pancakes vs waffles or bacon vs sausage to deep philosophical question of life after death, the supernatural, and the logistical workings of the city of Pittsburgh). Sit down and watch a game on a couch or chair, grab a bite from a local restaurant and just hangout.
I also recommend trying their store-exclusive cigar “The Lost Ledger” or one of their house blends. If you’ll let them, anyone who works for The Cigar Vault will find what makes you happy, which may not be what they would like but they won’t force you to buy something.

We needed a cigar lounge in this area for a long time, and this place absolutely delivered. I was fortunate enough to attend the soft opening with the owners, and from day one it was clear they were building something special. The lounge is beautiful, exceptionally well-ventilated, and always welcoming. The owners and staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the coffee is excellent, and the overall atmosphere makes it an easy place to relax and stay awhile.
Since opening, I’ve become a regular frequenting the lounge weekly, if not daily. and I’ve been a locker member for over a year. I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. Having visited cigar lounges all over the world, I can honestly say this place offers some of the best value, selection, and service in the industry. It’s exactly what this area needed for years. If you enjoy cigars, great conversation, and a comfortable atmosphere (plus $15 hookah), this is a must-stop spot.
Stopped in and was welcomed by the owners Norm and Miguel, then also met Johnny the manager. Toured the humidor, like a “kid in a candy store”.
They have a wall of beautiful lockers for rental, and La Marzocco Espresso machine, using fresh roasted and ground local beans.
The space is spread out, comfortable, the air handling is top notch, and their boutique selection is one of the best in Pittsburgh that I have seen. They carry many desirable sticks from brands you wont usually find at any brick n mortar locally.
It is a great new shop that you should stop in, check out, have a coffee, and visit if looking for a premium experience with friendly people while expanding your palate with different selections.
Several dining options and a brewery all walking distance.
Higher speed stable internet connections and several niche seating areas with tvs for a more “private” lounge experience. Cold beverage fridge with waters, and sodas for purchase. It’s also BYOB if thats your thing.

I've been to a lot of local cigar shops in the Pittsburgh area and a regular to a few. There's always a commonality amongst most cigar entities in the area for me: they all lack some part of the recipe.
New kid on the block Cigar Vault Oakdale shows up, hitting an instant homerun. The location is great. Oakdale has plenty of small-town vibes and friendliness without the drawbacks of being secluded and driving out of your way to patronize. Robinson Mall is 10-15 mins down the road. Pittsburgh International is equal time away. Maybe only 30 mins outside the city of Pittsburgh. Parking options are great and there's plenty of local food and amenities nearby.
The facility is fantastic. Leather couches and chairs everywhere. Not cheap ones either. Very comfortable and supportive. The couches even recline to boot. Several smart TVs are well distributed around the lounge with remotes for each unit. Multiple nooks allow your party to feel cozy and separate from others while still being part of the overall vibe. The balance of natural and electrical lighting is great. Bathrooms are very clean and bright. Everything has been touched and redone for their opening. Ventilation is great for an enclosed space with standard ceiling heights. I have not been here with a lot of occupants so that experience could change with increased capacity. The lounge also features lockers for rent.
Service is top notch. Owners Norm and Miguel, and manager Johnny are all great and personable people. Their service has been top notch and is obvious they're passionate about cigars their patrons. They've gone above and beyond for myself and my friends.
The humidor is, in my opinion, one of if not the best in the area. Boutique cigar choices line every inch of the room, with a few house blends thrown in, which are very good in my opinion. The shelves and walls are all an African variant of Spanish Cedar, and the atmosphere feels very consistent because of it.
In conclusion, this is a MUST SEE for those into cigars, pipes, and hookah. I plan on being a regular here for the foreseeable future. At the time of this review, their official opening isn't for another week, but this is about as solid as a soft opening gets. I'm looking forward to the future Cigar Vault Oakdale and wishing them great success, and I believe that won't be hard for them to achieve
