We were going to theater in Ft Lauderdale and came across reviews for Tamarindo Harbor Italian Bar & Grill , so we decided to try it. It was quiet when we arrived at 6:30 but by 7, it was packed. At 7, they have a very singer who plays the guitar. Very good background music. Very good wait staff and I like that they show you pictures of the specials on an I pad but don't tell you the prices. I opted for the Frutti Di Mare withy shrimp, mussels, scallops, and calamari over pasta, choice of penne or linguine. It was very good but surprisingly light on the pasta. My wife chose her favorite, Chicken Parmigiana , with pasta, either penne or linguine and marinara sauce. She liked it. Definitely will return.

The owner was super kind and thoughtful. 10/10 service. The food was delicious. Not a single thing we ordered was bad. The bread was great along with the vegetable soup. Highlights were the eggplant parmigiana, linguini and meatballs, and shrimp pasta. To top it all off everything was very affordable being about $25 per person. For this price, service, and quality we will definitely be coming again when we’re back in the area.

An absolute GEM. Wow. We're from Boston, so Italian food is a religion and Tamarindo Harbor blew us away. Frankly, most Italian in Fort Lauderdale is in disappointing -- corporate, bland, soupy, loud. We'd about given up. What a delightful surprise to find this lovely exception. Fabulous flavors, impeccable gracious service, in a warm comfortable environment where you can hear your guests without shouting. Chef offered us small cups of velvety sweet potato cream soup, everyone murmured at the first spoonful, so delicious. Chicken Parmigiana was thinly pounded crisp and just simply lovely. Lasagna Bolognese, meaty super flavorful. Chicken Francaise light lemon creamy. Great drinks. Save room for dessert. Limoncello cake. Very light not too sweet. Perfect end to a great meal. Sergio made us feel welcome, appreciated, and offered thoughtful suggestions (and many small treats) throughout. Skip the strip. This place is fabulous. Live acoustic music Friday and Saturday. We’re going back tomorrow.

I just went to Tamarindo Harbor last night with 2 of my girlfriends! Oh my gosh! We were blown away by the food, service, and atmosphere. Our server was nothing short of awesome! He was so accommodating and helpful. I wish I lived around here so I could go everyday. If you haven't been, what are you doing?? HIGHLY recommend!

Came here on the Friday nice and we really have a really great time here. The service is top notch. Food is very delicious, everything is tasty, nothing that we order is not yummy. I’m really happy that we came here and every time food has been served we always finish it fast and no time for pictures. I really recommend this place if you looking for Italian food in town. If I could give 10 stars out of 5 I would 🥰
