Ruiz Cigar Shop in Sparks is a nice little cigar lounge. This is Marvin's original cigar lounge. He has another shop in Reno that is much bigger. His whole family are great ! Very helpful and nice. I always visit one of the Ruiz shops when I'm in town. If you are looking for a nice lounge to relax and smoke, go to Ruiz Cigars !!

I passed through Sparks and Reno and stayed for about a week. Visited both shops but spent most visits at the Sparks location. I met Mr Ruiz and his daughter. Very nice people and Mr Ruiz makes some fine cigars. I also met Kurt, Jim and Steve. They were very courteous and helpful to this cigar virgin. I especially enjoyed meeting Steve, we had a lot in common musically. I look forward to my next visit the next time I’m in town.

I’ve been a cigar smoker for decades and I’ve had some decent house rolled cigars. Marvin at Ruiz Cigars, however, rolls some of the best I’ve ever had! Ruiz Cigars has a great selection of your favorite brands but their house labels (Ruiz and Leo) are the best! From light to full, the cigars at Ruiz Cigars are flavorful, aren’t over-packed or filled with junk, and burn well without falling apart on you. With two locations, Prater & McCarran or South Virginia, they’re easy to find and they treat you like you’re part of the family. Great selection, awesome vibes, great people and the owner, Marvin, will always greet you with a smile. Highly recommend!!!

Very welcoming shop with a place to sit and enjoy a cigar. A decent selection of cigars but missing some of the larger brands. However, their personal brand is excellent and extremely well priced. A full range of sizes and tastes. Highly recommended for cigar smokers.

Great place to hang out with friends. Workers helped me to choose a good Cigar. They also explain to you about the tobacco so that way you know if the cigar is strong, medium or light.
