Great selection of cigars, including some rare finds. The staff may not seem very friendly at first, but don’t judge too quickly — they’re actually knowledgeable and happy to help you track down rare sticks you’re looking for.

Fantastic old school feel smoking lounge. Saw several people hanging out visiting having a cigar or pipe. The lounge and retail portion are all inclusive. So even though the ventilation was great, you’ll still have the smell on you when you leave. But hey, if you’re in there then you shouldn’t care anyway. The staff were very attentive and helpful. I chose a nice Davidoff stick after some advice from a staff member. They have an amazing Davidoff selection. The cigar pricing I felt was right where it should be. Very reasonable and in line with standard online pricing. If I had to give one knock, it would be that much of the cigar inventory seemed to be in boxes stacked behind the counter on wall shelves. So you will likely have to ask for specific cigars vs being able to casually browse all the inventory. Overall Rich’s is a 5 star shop and I look forward to going back.

Stopped in to grab a smoke. Bill asked what other sticks I enjoyed and he recommended a Padron 64. I grabbed a seat and chatted up a couple of regulars about the comings and goings of Portland. Great atmosphere for just enjoying a smoke and conversation. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. I highly recommend this place.

Very nice atmosphere. Nice furniture and relaxing. Cigars lack love. The cigars we purchased to smoke in the lounge were dry, humidity appears to not be kept in range for the cigars on the counter which includes anythig in the $10-$100plus cigars. The humidor although nice contains a small selection of more economic cigars $7.00 and under. When lighting up we, my friend and I had the Asylum straight jacket. The cigar l wrap caught full on fire when being toasted, the we realized they where cracked midlevel through to the shoulder. The cigars began to uwrap. (All together signs of low humidity) Friendly staff. Knowledgeable, but not enough love shown to the cigars. ... in response to owner response Thank you for the response. I am sure there is a series of reasons that could be at play here. Thats why I intend to visit and bring my friends back. It is a great looking place. Very inviting and very well selection. I actually noticed some hard to find cigars here. And yes, any issues i will gladly bring em up. Of course i would provide an updated review.

This is a great cigar/tobacco store. I went in looking to buy a tobacco pipe today. I'm still learning about smoking a tobacco pipe. Bill took the time to show me different types of pipes to make sure it was a good fit for me. I learned a lot from him. I recommend Rich's for your tobacco needs. They have a large selection of pipes, tobacco blends, accessories and cigars.
