Out from the entire Old Town area of San Diego, I like "Racine & Laramie Tobacco, Cigars, and Pipes" the best. Not only the way they well preserved all the wooden interior decorations, and the antique displays (most of them are more than a century old), also the smell 😉 The smell of cigars becomes part of the experiences here when visiting, plus the guy dressed in the 19th century style, you can't beat this little wooden house for that.

This place is amazing. They have the best selection of pipe tobacco and cigars and no other shop can compare to this place! The store is loaded with vintage decor and they have the best selection of pipes that I have ever seen in San Diego. The staff is very knowledgeable and are passionate about what they do. I spent 2 hours here just talking. I didn’t want to leave, but being a disabled veteran, my back was starting to give and I wanted to try all the tobacco I had purchased! The hand packaged bags of pipes tobacco is very good and smells great. Sweet John is my favorite tobacco here. I will be recommending this place to anyone that is a tobacconist enthusiast, they really have something for all levels of tobacco experience. Whether you are new to tobacco or a seasoned veteran, this place has something for you! Keep up the great work yall!
