This is a very nice place to buy cigars. On Magazine and Seventh. A must visit place in New Orleans. Huge selection of cigars and a smoking area inside and outside in the courtyard to relax and have great smoke. Left with a box of My Father Cigars and a box of Pedromo Champagne 10th Edition. Reasonable prices, too.

The Mayan Import Company Inc. sells fine cigars and accessories dealing with cigars. I do not smoke but still enjoyed the friendly staff and the wide variety of items for sale. They also provide very comfortable rooms where people wishing to enjoy a fine cigar may do so. A very nice business inside of a great old historic building.

Absolutely wonderful shop! I’m visiting the city and stopped here at the recommendation of a friend, and am so glad I did. The humidor has so many gems in it that it’s hard to decide what to grab. I stayed and had a Pi Brown in the little lounge area behind the door, and it was by far the best experience I’ve had in any shop I’ve been in. The regulars were so welcoming, and I’ll definitely be back every time I’m in the city.

Fine cigar lounge. Great cigar selection in large walk-in humidor. Free wifi; pleasant crowd; TV's. Only downside is they close at 8pm.

Smoking Maple and Rum flavoured pipe tobacco. Mayan imports is my first choice for tobacco and cigars when in New Orlins (Yes, that's the way the locals pronounce it.
