Lone Star Cigar Lounge is one of those places you instantly feel welcome the moment you walk in. The vibe is always inviting, laid back, comfortable, and perfect whether you’re there to unwind solo or hang out with friends. The drinks are consistently amazing, and the service is top-notch. The staff genuinely cares about making sure everyone has a great experience. One of the best touches is the sporadic on-site cigar vendors, which adds an extra layer of excitement and gives you the chance to discover something new. You can tell the owner, Chris, takes real pride in his shop, because it shows in every detail. At the same time, he puts just as much care into the customers, making sure everyone feels taken care of and appreciated. The atmosphere is relaxed enough for actual conversation, not like shouting over music in a crowded bar. It's similar to Cigar International but smaller and more personal. They pick up some cigars from Finck's, which brings up the quality. The staff are friendly without being over the top. Chris, the owner, is always smiling and makes you feel welcome when you walk in. Shout-out to Peyton behind the bar—great service and a fun personality. Bonus points for the name association assist 😄.

Maddie has been the most helpful person. However, what I thought was super interesting is that my best friend was smoking a cigar and she goes would you like a cigar cause I smoke regular cigarettes. And I’m extremely happy with what you gave me now. I am also gonna buy those from here as my brother does. She’s a great asset!

Incredibly nice bar. Great drinks and the most welcoming atmosphere I've encountered in Helotes. Very personal service and they shared free pizza pieces ariund the entire bar just because. We got turned away at another bar because one of us had a Dutch drivers license and not a passport (unrelated but a first for me throughout my 4 trips to the US) but Lone Star Cigar has made us feel the most welcome out of any of the places I've been in Texas. Absolute must visit!

The Cigar Lounge is such a welcoming, cozy place to unwind. The music is always great, and the staff is incredibly friendly — they make you feel right at home every single time. I love coming here to relax with a nice drink and a quality cigar. I’d never even tried cigars before visiting this lounge, and now I can’t stop coming back. Highly recommend checking this place out!
