From the moment you walk in, Robert and Candace create an atmosphere that’s warm, welcoming, and genuinely enjoyable. They’re extremely knowledgeable and take the time to get to know you, remembering your likes and dislikes so they can always recommend something new you’ll actually enjoy. The humidor is well-stocked with a wide selection of premium cigars, offering everything from smooth and mild options to bold, complex favorites. The lounge is clean, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing, giving the whole place a refined yet laid-back vibe. If you’re anywhere near St. James and appreciate high-quality cigars paired with exceptional service, Leatherwood Cigar is absolutely worth the stop. I thought i had had a few decent cigars before, until I stopped in at Leatherwood. Best cigar I've ever had, and very well priced. The tasting notes are actually accurate, not just made up mumbo jumbo, and I can taste each flavor. I get the feeling I'm going to be spending a LOT more money here. Also, on top of the great cigars, the owner is super knowledgeable and even though I came in dirty after work in bibs and hi vis he treated me like a premium customer. The music and atmosphere was wonderful.

I had a really pleasant experience here. The shop has a great selection of cigars and the atmosphere is fantastic. Friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to help answer questions without any pressure. You can tell they care about the quality of their products and the experience they provide. It is hard to describe how great the experience is at Leatherwood. First of all, it is an experience, not just a shop. The cigar selection is curated with tremendous care, and the lounge experience is second to none. My business partner and I visited from out of town, not knowing what to expect, and we were blown away. As cigar enthusiasts, we have been in lounges all over the country, but Leatherwood is unmatched in the care and passion that has gone into every detail. Robert was a gracious and hospitable host, and he went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience. I look forward to coming back as soon as possible.
