I love popping in here every now and then. I wish they had the had the pipe tobacco and pipes like they use to have. But the store overall is very nice. It's a great place to buy a smoke and a drink. Flop down in one of their chairs in the lobby and have a relaxing smoke and fellowship with other patrons. The staff here are very knowledgeable and always a treat to socialize with and their cigar selection is pretty good compared to other place.

Always a great place to ship when traveling near Selma, NC. Large friendly service staff. The store has a large selection of cigars, frequent sales and specials. Cigarettes are also sold there along with a large selection of wine. There are large screen TV set up for those looking to sit and enjoy a cigar in climate control. Highly recommend JR Cigar store. This place is nice, easy to get to from the highway, even with a semi plus trailer. Once you turn down the road, read the signs ... take the 3rd entrance and drive to the back of the building. Plenty of space to maneuver and park. A short walk to the front of the store, plus I saw other stores ... not sure if we're allowed to spend the night, but if we are, there looks like a nice food place in the center as well. I just became a "regular" cigar smoker this summer, I've the person who'll smoke a stick once in a great while. It's a great relaxation aide. I ordered from the JR website a few weeks ago and was very happy with the savings, but since I was passing this one, decided to stop in and talk to real people. Nice people. Friendly. Knowledgeable. Bigger savings are online, but it was nice to walk through the huge humidor of various cigars, smell the smells, and see so many variations! I told the salesman I like assortments. He found a great suggestion ... spend so much and get a prefilled assortment bag at a great price, more than half off. They close at 6pm; I arrived at 4:50, but didn't feel rushed at all, but didn't wanna take too long as my truck clock was low. The next time I come, I'll look at all the other products they have. I saw some beautiful humidors. I have a nice one, but have a feeling I'll need more.

I have been ordering cigars from JR for over 30 years. I have never called with one complaint about their products. My last shipment I received the cigars were dry and fell apart as I was smoking them. I called customer service and they were happy for me to return them and I could order a new bundle. Mind you they’re only a $40 JR alternative I would’ve thought at the very least they would’ve just sent a new bundle out. I was very disappointed in their customer service.
