I received a gift card to this establishment for Christmas and was excited to use it. The cigar selection is just ok, not much beyond the “basics” but I did find a few things. Their Padron humidor had light mold on a few cigars so that was a pass. As far as pipers are concerned, they don’t carry tinned tobacco at all, just about a dozen jars of “house blends” that are mostly different aromatics. One neat thing is their basket of estate pipes for sale, found a beautiful Italian Calabash that just needed some cleaning and polishing, I use it often. Three stars, it was kind of a letdown to find a cigar shop that mentions pipes in their name (usually an afterthought for most cigar shops) but no tins and the pipe selection was just alright. However, it’s better than nothing and I’ll drive across the lake before I buy cigars from Total Wine. Customers service was mildly insulting but in an endearing way. I’ll probably be back for another estate pipe at some point.

I used to rate this place at five stars. But after returning after not coming for a while I had a horrible experience. I used to come in all the time when I worked in Covington. After a long hiatus I finally moved to Covington and thought a cigar was the perfect way to celebrate. I'm in business attire, dress shirt (tucked in) tie, dress pants, nice shoes. I walk in see the wife of the owner ask her how she has been, says she remembers me ect. Welp I go into the humidor to pick something out. Now this is a small walk in with little room to maneuver. I'm checking out the selection and this crazy lady walks in and stand right next to me. So close I can smell her body odor. She goes "well what will it be huh". I'm trying to not be rude but I can't go back and forth to look at the selection due to this lady. I take a step to the right she follows. I touch a cigar she goes "oh so that's your choice" I say "no". "Well what's it going to be". She made is perfectly clear I was not trusted and she made it super uncomfortable. I know theft is a thing but I'm a returning customer in business attire and she stalked me like a kid wearing a backpack. I still bought their highly overpriced stick and attempted to smoke it. She sits ACROSS from me and will not stop talking to me. Her eyes lock on my hand each time to used their lighter. All in all I felt like I was being told constantly I wasn't trusted. I'm a 38 year old father, husband, and businessman and I took great offence to it. She would not shut up so bad I literally had to say ok ma'am have a great day and just walk out. It's a shame because I had so many fun times there but I will not be returning. Ps. When someone says if you carry this cigar I will buy it you shouldn't say that's not my job. I know me leaving won't hurt your business but maybe you should be better with your judgement and not put your granddaughter's business out to the public. Highly overpriced - I paid $15 for a magic toast toro Stalker vibes - if your that afraid of being stolen from retire Rude - I'll just stay home and smoke my own sticks I get cheaper since it's not your job to know what your customers like. Selection - THE worst selection I've seen in a while. You truly are a "deadhead" is that's the way you treat people.

Need a couple cigars for weekend. Had a variety of choice. Just none I was really looking for. Gave it 4 star not because of that reason. But place seemed to nit have very good ventilation. Most cigar lounge I have benn in. Dont have a cloud of snake hit you in face when you open door.

A nice friendly family owned tobacco shop . Best pipe selection I’ve seen around nola and surrounding areas . Nice bulk tobacco . Can’t ask for more. I’ll be back
