Had a nice chat with the gents running and working at Dewey Ave Smoke. That place has it all. They've been around longer than most places who share a clientel, and I can see now why that is. Experts. Experts at their products and uses and histories. Up to speed on current proposed, or the possibilities for the ideas about the future int the industry and all the adjacent fields, revenue streams, taxation, and context for these things being either historically beneficial for a society, as well as a magnet for the predisposed for corruption. The irony wasn't lost.on.my.new friends behind the counter at Dewey Ave Smoke, either. Maybe it was because I couldn't help but to buy four new pieces I totally do not need, but were way too gorgeous to pass by. Or that there was a bubbler and a hammer that looked like they came in a set together. Or maybe it was because I end up breaking all my glass eventually, and they stocked some of the heaviest, thickest hand blown glass wall pipes I've ever seen that small. Maybe it was all those things. One thing I do know for sure. I wouldn't have gotten FOUR new pieces if their prices were similar to everywhere else. I spent the equivalent I would have at any other location in order to buy TWO from a competitor. I call that half price. Go see for yourself. Tell them what you like and want. They'll have it. There's a LOT in that store, and it can be overwhelming to attempt to just find something. So ask. They're happy to help you. Almost as if they like their job. Crazy, right?! Check out the "twins" in the pic. I mean... I couldn't resist. You go in there and try NOT to get a bunch of stuff. It's damn near impossible.

Used to come here all the time! But I quit the smoke. So now I pop in once in a while. They are like family, bold and sassy, with high quality love, respect, and all sorts of flavors.

Went here because a friend of mine and I wanted to try pipes. Their choices of tobaccos and accessories are second to none and at great prices too. I wish I had gotten the gentleman's name who helped me but he was nice and extremely knowledgeable. Basically he gave me a beginners class on smoking pipes. This will definitely be my go to place.

I will refrain from taking anything off for the size of the store and parking lot, because you can’t do anything about that, but otherwise this store is amazing. Kind, helpful, friendly staff, vast selection, and good prices. They even gave me a free lighter because they felt bad it was taking the person in front of me forever to cash out.

This place reminds me of an old fashion general store that you would find out West somewhere. I don’t know the owner’s name but he makes you feel like he’s known you for years. Great selection of cigars and accessories, that’s the only side of the store I visit but the place has a whole lot more for other crowds. A true gem and I will continue to support this local business versus buy online.
