My boyfriend and I have been coming here since 2019 and absolutely love it. We've come with friends and made friends--this place truly feels like a community. What sets it apart is the staff: remembering names and making people feel genuinely welcome, even if you're not a regular. Excellent cigar selection with knowledgeable guidance for newcomers. Beer, wine, and nonalcoholic drinks are available, sports are always on, and heat lamps keep cooler nights comfortable. They also host special guest appearances--including big names like Rocky Patel himself--which adds to the experience. There's also a shop for clothing and cigar accessories, snacks inside, and they allow outside food with plenty of great options right next door. Bonus: great bathroom lighting for selfies--just remember there's only one bathroom, so don't take too long, and please put the seat down for the ladies😉 A true neighborhood gem with top-tier hospitality.

This cigar store was the highlight of my recent trip to San Diego. In town for three days of business meetings, it was great to walk from the hotel get a good cigar recommendation and sit outside enjoying the smoke. The staff is super friendly and recommended an excellent cigar each day.

From the time i walked in it felt comfortable. I was helped immediately. I located 3 smokes bought a glass of wine and was shown to my sit in the outside sitting area. This spot in olde town is very classy. I recommend this establishment to all my cigar smoking folks.

Churchill Cigars in Old Town San Diego is the real deal. Glenn remembered our names from ONE visit a month ago. That alone tells you everything you need to know about how they run their shop. Service is dialed in — attentive, knowledgeable, zero ego, zero pressure. Just good people who know cigars. The humidor is legit with a solid mix of everyday favorites and premium sticks, and their accessory selection isn’t an afterthought either. They’ve got quality cutters, lighters, and gear — not gas station filler. If you’re in Old Town and enjoy a proper cigar experience, this is the place. We’ll be back every time we’re in San Diego.
