We will no longer be purchasing cigars if Dave is working. We buy hundreds of dollars worth of cigars when we are in town, and Dave kicks us out at 650 because he "needs to go". Business hours state 9, and we have never had problems with any other employee. He has done this to use 4 times. Does Dan know that he closes as he pleases? I wonder how much business you have lost from him closing early. If you don't want to be there Dave, don't come... oh but you said you get to smoke all the cigars you want without paying for it-- he brags. Its just upsetting an establishment you love doesn't make you feel welcome. I have promoted this company on my Instagram and can't imagine going home to LaCrosse and not stopping into Briar.

I was in from out of town and found this hidden gem. I walked in and was welcomed very warmly and made to feel comfortable. They had a great selection of cigars and I enjoyed myself in their lounge for about an hour and a half. Everybody there was friendly. I would highly recommend.

In cute downtown Lacrosse. Their is a lounge. They don't have a walk in humidor. The cigars are correctly humidified. I checked. Cigars are fresh tasting. I do think they need to be rotated. Ample supply of good names. The owner is knowledgeable. I tested him. I am an amateur aficinado. I have been to many Cigar retailers and order online. The guys are nice. Give this place your business. See them again soon. If you dont have a humidor but a Boveda 2way pack 69% put it in the humidity bag to maintain your fine selection...much smoke .

I came in with no knowledge on cigars/pipes and they were very friendly, inviting, and informative. Gave me a free cigar cutter with my purchases and good advise. Lounge is comfortable and inviting. Have been back there several times now and will continue to do so.
