After 24 years in the military and now working in the airline industry, I’ve traveled the world and smoked cigars in many different places. Hands down, there is no one smarter or more generous with their knowledge than Freddy at Bayside Cigars. I’m new to Miami and recently brought my brother in to meet Freddy and get introduced to the world of cigars. Freddy took the time to share so many fascinating details including professional insights about construction, origins, aging, and flavor profiles, and taught us both a tremendous amount in a way that felt completely welcoming and unpretentious. He recommended a few cigars perfectly suited to our tastes, and they were absolutely amazing. The store itself is great too. Tons of cool accessories, a fantastic selection of premium cigars, and ice-cold beer to enjoy. Most importantly, Freddy made the entire experience with my brother unforgettable. It felt like hanging out with a friend who happens to be a true master of his craft. I’m already looking forward to going back to learn more, relax, and enjoy this gem of a shop. If you’re in Miami and serious about cigars (or just curious to learn), do yourself a favor and stop by Bayside Cigars. Ask for Freddy, you won’t be disappointed.

I stopped by this cigar shop while in Miami for work, and I’m so glad I did. Freddy was incredible, very helpful, welcoming, and seems genuinely passionate about what he does. His knowledge is exceptional and made all the difference. I was a little overwhelmed with all the options but with Freddy’s help, I got exactly what I needed…and more!
