Master Blends 3 (Liga Maestra) is a limited‑run Broadleaf‑wrapped Oliva from 2006 that pairs U. S. Broadleaf Sun Grown wrappers with a Nicaraguan binder and ligero‑heavy filler to produce a medium‑full to full cigar with espresso, dark chocolate, leather and cedar notes.

Master Blends 3 was conceived as a small‑batch, Lig Maestra expression: dark U. S. Broadleaf outside, Nicaraguan Habano binder and a ligero‑rich Nicaraguan filler core. The cigar is dense and chewy—thick smoke, big coffee and espresso, dark chocolate and leathery tobacco—with cedar and black‑pepper seasoning on the retrohale. Strength runs medium‑full to full and construction on well‑made examples is typically solid. Its limited, artisanal intent and Broadleaf surface give it a darker, heavier flavor profile than Oliva's regular production lines.
